Walking Sightseeing Tour

Learn the village's history and visit craft workshops showcasing folk crafts and trades, housed in authentic 19th-century houses transported to Mandrogi from the Vologda and Arkhangelsk regions.

  • In the summer, we can take a trip to the Lukomorye glade, where we'll admire wooden sculptures depicting characters from the prologue to A.S. Pushkin's poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" and soak in the beauty of the northern forest.

  • Visit the 19th-century Church of the Prophet Elisha, where you can listen to the chants of a small group of singers from the Tikhvin Diocese's Episcopal Choir.

  • Visit the Vodka Museum and tour the exhibition (almost 4,000 bottles of the traditional drink collected from around the world), learn about drinking rules, and enjoy a tasting. The tour will provide an opportunity to learn about the history of vodka in Rus' from ancient times to the present day. The museum also features unique, handcrafted decanters and exclusive bottles of vodka acquired from collectors and at auctions.

At the end of the tour, you'll have the unique opportunity to participate in a mini-tasting—a 50 ml sample of vodka or a strong liqueur of your choice. Cucumbers and croutons are prepared for appetizers by the chefs at the Gostiny Dvor restaurant. Duration: 2 hours.
